Like I promised you a week ago, we have now taken actions against those that exploited the situation that arose the 30th of June when courrier mission rewards were increased 10x instead of 3x. Fortunately, in EVE we keep track of every single significant player action, so that we can usually address these kind of issues without having to disrupt the whole game.

There were 9183 players that finished courrier missions during the period between 06:10 and 13:20 of the 30th of June.
在6月30日 06:10到13:20之间的这段时间里,一共有9183位玩家完成了运输任务。
During that time a total of 12,593,432,800 ISK was paid out as courrier mission rewards. This was about 3 times more than normal.About 25% of that money was made by about 1% of the mission players (111 players to be exact) that used an exploit to complete a high number of missions. The rest of the ISK was distributed broadly over about 9,000 players that did courrier mission more or less as normal.

We decided to ban these 111 players, as well as to put them through a thorough GM examination. Such examination means that not only are those player banned, but all their activity and interaction with other players is scrutinized. This has led to banning of more players and corporations, that obviously tried to transfer their gains, or had used them to obtain unfair advantage. As in all such cases, we have tried to use good judgement and solid data to justify the banning, but if someone feels unfairly targeted he should send us a petition and make his case to the GMs.
我们决定封停上述滥用运输任务的111名玩家,同时将有GM对这些角色进行彻底的调查。这些调查将不止是封停他们的帐号,同时也包括对其行为以及同其他玩家发生的交互行为都将被细致的调查。通过调查,将有可能对帮助了这些角色进行销赃或者利用这些角色获取非法利益的玩家或者军团进行封停处罚。在所有这些将可能被调查的案例中,我们将采用最公平和实际有效的数据进行判定,如果有不服判定的可以提交请求进行上诉,GM将对这些上诉进行重新调查。
For the rest of the players, we reduced by 80% the loyalty points gained during the incident period. We decided not to roll them completely back, because most of the remaining players were actually honest players that just happened to do missions while the rewards were bugged, and they would have gained some loyalty points nonetheless. All the cases with absurdly high loyalty points were in the banned list, so even if they used their points, they will have a problem hiding it from us.
对于其他的玩家,我们降低了在这段时间中这些角色通过运输任务获得的80%忠诚点数。我们决定不进行全面的回档是因为,其他绝大多数玩家是非常诚实的,在事件发生的这段时间他们只是正在日常的进行他们的游戏,他们所获得最多的也就是一些忠诚点数罢了。所有被涉及到获取了非常不合和常理数量忠诚点数的角色都存在于那些将会被封停的帐号中,所以,即便他们使用这些点数,他们也没有办法躲过我们的措施。
The same goes with the ISK made by those honest players. We decided not to roll that back at all, because the amounts per player were not so significant (average 1M ISK per player), and were actually compatible with the 3x increase of courrier mission rewards that we originally intended.
对于那些诚实的玩家在这段时间所获得ISK,我也决定不进行全面的回档。因为这些钱分配到他们手中的数目并不是很庞大(平均一百万/人),同时也符合之前原本打算设定的3倍奖金的数额。
With all things considered, the economical impact on the game has been small and advantages gained by players has been minimized if not completely obliterated in the case of known exploiters. We have also monitored market activites since the incident and we have not seen any abnormal behavior there. The EVE economy is pretty robust towards events like these, and it is not easy for exploiters to get away with huge gains. I hope that more than just restoring trust to our players, this incident may also serve as a lesson to those that try to use exploits to try to gain unfair advantage and basically spoil the game for others. EVE is a game of players against players, but this conflict should be within the rules and spirit of the game.
通过采取这些手段,即使运输任务滥用事件的影响不能被完全绝对的消除掉,也使得其对经济的冲击和玩家所获得非法利益都被降低到了最小程度。我们也在事件发成后对游戏的市场行为进行了监控,而并没有发现任何非正常的行为。EVE的经济系统是非常坚固的,特别是对于这样的事件,同时滥用游戏机制而获得非法巨额暴利的也很逃脱制裁。我希望这能重新恢复玩家对我们的信任,更多的是,这次事件是对那些存在利用游戏漏洞获取暴利的侥幸心理的人的一次教训。EVE是一个玩家对玩家的游戏,但是这些争斗都应该被游戏的规则和精神所约束。
