John and his sister Carole were at the National Theatre this evening for a well-received Platform event hosted by Kaye Adams. They chatted about the recently published paperback edition of John's second book, "I Am What I Am", which has additional stories from John's time in La Cage Aux Folles and Desperate Housewives, the newly-commissioned fourth series of Torchwood and the new series of Tonight's The Night. The photo below was taken after the talk, when John and Carole signed several hundred copies of the book for a very long queue of patient fans!
John Barrowman 和他的姐姐 Carole今晚在国家剧院举行了由Kaye Adams主持的签名售书活动。他们谈了新近出版的John的第二本书《I Am What I Am》简装本中新增加的部分：John 演出音乐剧《鸟笼》和电视剧《绝望的主妇》，刚刚确定要开拍的第四季《火炬木》和新一季《Tonight's The Night》。

John 提到了他和Scott为OK杂志作了一个“和……在家”专题。
Scott也在观众席。当John确认了Scott的位置并向观众作介绍的时候有点儿离题了，他随后向大家道歉自己因为看到Scott而走神了。 Scott was in the audience. When John spotted him/pointed him out he (John) went a bit off track and then apologised for being distracted by his ‘hunk of man’ (and boy, he really is a hunk )
- 像去年穿插照片一样，今年John将会在演唱会上穿插录像。Carole 说 Scott 和她的孩子们为此而担心。John回应说：“不用担心，Scott，（我们的）那些录像都保存在安全的地方”（JB和SG是不是也像陈冠希那样是摄影大师电脑白痴？）
- There were various cheers throughout the evening: for Desperate Housewives, La Cage, when John said that Captain Jack would be in all 10 episodes of the new series of TW, and when John said that there is no TW without Jack
- The ‘ballgate’ discussion was quite stressful for all concerned! I wanted to give John a hug. I wish he would stop apologising for it – while it would have been best if he hadn’t done it (not that I think he did anything wrong), it was totally overblown for political reasons (the Daily Mail having a go at the BBC) and 99.9% of people think it was a fuss over nothing (it was the RADIO!). But, it was interesting to see how much it affected him, as awful as it was also, and heartening to hear how much of a support Scott was at that time （希望能知道Scott到底做了什么？）
- He and Carole are writing a fiction book for teens (I’m no longer a teen, but I’ll be buying it ) 其实更希望看到SG的照片。
据现场的fans说，JB比刚从美国回来的时候壮了一些。照片上确实状态很好。
谢天谢地，他不是又黑又胖。
在访谈中有人问起了前一段时间的ballgate，JB再次道歉并作了解释。好像在ballgate事件期间，JB有些抑郁。好在JB身边有SG足够冷静强大并且爱他支持他。（我不确定他那时候到底是真的有些轻微抑郁症还是正常状态下情绪低落）。不过在事件之后他在别的访谈中被问起就说不作回答要把这件事情放在新书里面。
集中在书里爆料确实比在各种节目中把事情全说完要更明智。
